The purpose of this research is to analyze types of reduplication processes in Raberi dialect based on Optimality Theory (Prince & Smolensky, 1993/2004) and Correspondence Optimality Theory (McCarthy & Prince, 1995). The research data were collected through interviews with 20 illiterate and low-literate native speakers (12 men and 8 woman), aged between 60 to 75 years, residents of Rabor County, and supplemented by library sources. Findings indicate reduplication occurs in two main types: complete and non-complete. Complete reduplication includes non-augmented forms; medial augmented forms with the insertion of interfixes [-ɑ-], [-me-], [-vɑ-], and [-ru-]; and final augmented forms with the attachment of suffixes [-u], [-ak], and [-i]. Echo reduplication appears in both prefixal and suffixal forms, sometimes involving a change in the base's onset or vowel, with or without the insertion of the conjunctive [o]. Non-complete reduplication is also observed in both prefixal and suffixal forms. The result show, in complete reduplication, the constraints (DEP) and (MAX) are typically prioritized; however, in cases involving the conjunctive [o], the (ONSET) constraint, which prohibits onsetless syllables, is ranked higher. But, in non-complete reduplication, the constraint (IDENT-BR (Onset)) and the prevention of violating (MAX) play a decisive role in shaping the final output.
