Gilaki has varieties in diverse regions in Guilan province such as Rasht, Langerud, Anzali, but its archaic variety is Gāleshi, spoken in mountainous area in the east of Guilan. The vocabulary and sound system of this dialect is profoundly affected by Persian, so that most of its northwestern features were disappeared or only may be seen in archaic variety of Guilaki such as Gāleshi. The aim of this paper was to examine the vocabulary of Guilaki varieties to find the northwestern phonological features of this dialect by looking at certain characteristics of its historical phonology. Findings showed that Guilaki has basic northwestern features, though exhibit some of them only in one word, or though these characteristics are best seen in archaic varieties of Guilaki such as Gāleshi. گیلکی از گویش­های شمال غربی ایران است که در کرانه‌های جنوب غربی دریای خزر در استان گیلان صحبت می‌‌شود و به همراه تالشی، مازندرانی و سمنانی گروه گویش­های خزر را تشکیل می‌دهد. این گویش گونه­های مختلفی در رشت، لاهیجان و لنگرود دارد، اما گونۀ کهن­تر و اصیل­تر آن؛ گالشی، گویش برخی کوه­نشینان شرق گیلان است. این گویش از زبان فارسی تأثیر زیادی گرفته‌است. تأثیر فارسی بر واژگان و ساخت آوایی گیلکی چنان است که ویژگی­های آوایی شمال غربی آن تا اندازۀ زیادی از میان رفته یا تنها در برخی ساخت­های کهن مانده­است. هدف مقاله بررسی گونه­های مختلف گیلکی برای یافتن و بررسی ویژگی­های آوایی شمال غربی در این گویش است. با بررسی واژگان گیلکی به­ویژه در گونه­های اصیل­تر آن مانند گالشی سعی کرده­ایم واژه‌ها و ساخت­های کهنی که ویژگی شمال غربی گیلکی را نشان دهد بیابیم. https://zaban.guilan.ac.ir/article_2479_b1ffc978f27d042f7671d19989b28b2d.pdf
